ABOUT KEEP THE SPARK ALIVE

The Unimaginable...

June 12, 2017, the unimaginable happened. Our beloved son, brother, and friend tragically took his own life. In the aftermath of this horror, the "Keep the Spark Alive" Foundation (KTSA) was created. Paying homage to Chad's lacrosse nickname, "Spark Plug", the foundation was ignited, just as Chad fired up his fellow team mates when he was on the lacrosse field.  The foundation was initially created to honor Chad by providing scholarships for his fellow lacrosse players but has evolved into an organization determined to prevent teen suicide by funding innovative programs and initiatives, supporting those left behind in the aftermath of suicide and continuing to honor the life and legacy of Chad Nathan Harrell.
